Chicken games at the casino: Chicken Road, Chicken Road 2.0 and Pilot Chicken
This page compares chicken crash games as a genre: a chicken moves step by step, the multiplier rises, and you decide when to stop. You'll find the three versions we checked side by side — their studios, returns and difficulty settings — and where to play them. At InOut's published 98%, Chicken Road returns about $98 per $100 over the long run.

Chicken Road: four difficulty levels
Our checklist: 2 of 6. InOut publishes the RTP and a free demo; bet limits, the top multiplier, the controls and how results are verified aren't on its game page. How the count works.
InOut's game is single-player: you help the chicken cross a road full of dangers, one lane at a time. You choose one of four difficulty levels — easy, medium, hard or hardcore — and, in InOut's words, "each level of difficulty increases the possible winning odds, but the risk of getting fried also increases with each step"[1]. Its 98% return is the highest of the chicken games we checked.
The difficulty works like the risk setting in Plinko: it doesn't change the return, it changes how far each step moves you and how often a run ends early. Pick the level before the round and decide how many lanes you'll try — the decision is easier before the first step than in the middle of the road. The returns in the table are the studios' published figures; the rules screen inside the game at your casino shows the RTP that casino runs.
Chicken Road 2.0
InOut released the sequel on April 15, 2025 with a lower published return of 95.5%[2]. That's two and a half points below the original: over $1,000 of bets, about $25 more stays with the casino on average. If both sit in a lobby, the original is the better deal on paper.
Pilot Chicken from Spribe
Spribe, the studio behind Aviator, has its own chicken game. Pilot Chicken returns 97%, offers three risk modes on a single title, runs on desktop and mobile and uses Spribe's provably fair technology[3]. The multiplier grows over time and you cash out before the crash — closer to Aviator than to a road crossing.

My verdict
If you want a chicken game, the original Chicken Road is the one I'd play: its 98% return beats both the sequel and Pilot Chicken, and the four levels let you choose the swing. Set the level and the number of lanes before you start. For a similar feel with more published maths, look at Mines, where every pick's odds can be counted.

Chicken game questions
What is a chicken game at a casino?
A crash-style game where a chicken moves forward step by step — across a road, or through the sky in Spribe's version. Each step raises the multiplier; you can stop and collect at any step, but if the chicken gets caught first, the bet is lost.
Which chicken game has the best RTP?
Of the three we checked, InOut's Chicken Road has the highest published return at 98%, followed by Spribe's Pilot Chicken at 97% and Chicken Road 2.0 at 95.5%.
What are the difficulty levels in Chicken Road?
Four: easy, medium, hard and hardcore. InOut says each level raises the possible winnings and the risk of the chicken getting "fried" with each step.
Can you win real money on Chicken Road?
At a casino, yes — the multiplier you collect at is applied to your bet. Casinos such as Winz and 7Bit carry it; the free demo uses play money.
